It is a part of the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany) IWRM (Integrated Water Resources Management in the Lower Jordan Rift Valley) R & D Programme.
The Jordanian enterprise NAW - Nabil Ayoub Wakileh & Co. also participates in this project as member of the private sector.
During the continuity of this project a partnership between both enterprises developped.
As a first result of ths partnership NAW participated in the tender of a construction of a wastewater treatment plant with reuse of the treated water for a Jordanian Headquarters of the Public Security Directorate in Moqabalane near to Amman. This by using ATB technology and equipment for about 1,900 PT .
The tender was part of the SWIM - Sustain Water MED (Network of Demonstration Activities for Sustainable Integrated Wastewater Treatment and Reuse in the Mediterranean), implemented by the GIZ (German Association for International Cooperation) GmbH and funded by the European Union.
The construction works are in full execution at the moment.
